The work behind an appearance
- 01 Cloth before colour For an event whose photographs outlive it, weight and weave matter more than colour. A light cloth flares under a flash and shows every crease.
- 02 Fitting in the real position The garment is checked in movement, not standing still: raising an arm, sitting, climbing a stair — the things that actually happen that night.
- 03 Six to eight weeks From choosing the cloth to final delivery. Rush orders are sometimes possible depending on the season, but leave much less room to correct.
