Care
- Silk ties
- Never press them. Untie the knot each evening and hang the tie so the fibres recover.
- Wool and cashmere scarves
- Store folded, not hung. Hanging stretches them.
- Stains
- Do not treat them yourself. Specialist cleaning, as soon as possible.
- Out of season
- In a cloth bag, never plastic. Plastic holds moisture in.
Guide
How to choose
A rule that almost always holds: the tie should be darker than the shirt. If the shirt is plain, the tie can carry a pattern; if the shirt is patterned, keep the tie plain.
For width, look at the lapel of your jacket — the closer the two, the better. Between 7 and 8 centimetres works with nearly everything.

The other lines
- 01 Fabric & Suiting Fabric is made to order, never stocked. You choose the design from the swatch book, the length you need is cut, and you take it away.
- 02 Leather Goods Belts, bags, card holders and other leather goods.
- 03 Perfume & Decants Perfume, cologne and body splash — as a full bottle or as a millilitre decant.
- 04 Gift Cases A combination of tie, pocket square, leather goods or fragrance — packed in a gift case.
- 05 Economy Tailoring The garment is cut to your measurements, but on a base block and from a shorter list of cloth — which is what keeps the price down.
