A suit for the groom and his party, cut to each man's own measurements from cloth chosen for that day, that season and those hours.
A wedding is one of the few days a suit is worn for hours, under a photographer's light, and kept in pictures for years. So the groom's suit is not only a matter of a handsome cloth: its weight, weave and drape decide whether it holds at the end of the night the shape it had at the start. In the Wedding Line, the cloth, the design and the measuring are settled in one consultation, and the suit is made to your measurements. If the groom's party wish to dress alike, the cloth and the design are coordinated for all of them along the same way; each is measured on his own.
Cloth is not paid for online. Place an order and we will ring you to agree the length and price; it is cut and waiting at the branch.

A cloth for a day that is remembered
- The season
- Lighter, more open cloth for a summer wedding; mid or heavier weights for winter
- Colour
- Navy, charcoal and black are the usual colours of formal occasions; the final choice is made with the real cloth in hand
- Fibre fineness
- A higher Super number gives a softer cloth, but for a suit worn for hours the balance of softness and durability matters more than the highest number
- Drape and body
- A cloth that drapes well keeps the jacket's shape to the end of the evening

From consultation to the day
- 01 Consultation Cloth, design and details, in one 2.5-hour appointment at a branch
- 02 Measuring Your measurements are taken at the same appointment
- 03 Making and fitting The suit is made to your measurements and fitted before it is handed over
- 04 Collection The finished suit is handed over at the branch
Timing
The earlier you begin, the more room there is for choosing the cloth and for the fitting. The branch tells you, at the consultation, exactly when the suit will be ready for the cloth and design you choose.

Often asked
Can the groom's party order too?
Yes. Their cloth and design can be coordinated with the groom's at the consultation; each is measured on his own.
Do I choose the cloth myself?
Yes — from the cloth houses held at the branch, with the consultant's guidance.
Can the suit be worn after the wedding?
If the cloth and colour are chosen with that in mind, a wedding suit stays right for later parties and formal occasions.

- 01 Fabric & Suiting Fabric is made to order, never stocked. You choose the design from the swatch book, the length you need is cut, and you take it away.
- 02 Accessories Jewellery and prayer beads, gold, silver, leather goods, hats and cigars.
- 03 Leather Goods Belts, bags, card holders and other leather goods.
- 04 Fragrance Perfume, cologne and body perfume — as a full bottle or as a millilitre decant.
- 05 Gift Cases A hand-made leather case holding cloth and accessories, or either alone, with a tailoring gift card.
- 06 Economy Tailoring The garment is cut to your measurements, but on a base block and from a shorter list of cloth — which is what keeps the price down.
